FIFA World Cup 2022

The acronym FIFA in French means Fédération Internationale de Football Association. FIFA simply means International Association Football Federation.FIFA was founded 108 years ago on May 24, 1904. It (FIFA) originated in the beautiful city of Paris, France.

The First FIFA cup was held in 1930 and the first cup was won by Uruguay. Since then, 21 FIFA cups have been held and this year, 2022 will be the 22^nd cup.

Brazil has won the greatest number of FIFA cups and five. Germany and Italy have won 4 FIFA cups each. France, Uruguay, and Argentina have won 2 FIFA cups each. Also, England and Spain have won one FIFA cup each. The last FIFA cup have won by France in 2018.

The 2022 FIFA cup can be called the biggest sports event in the world. Qatar is hosting this year's FIFA world cup and the total value invested for it is USD  1696 Million

The next FIFA world cup will be held in 2026.
